Transform Tools - Scale, Rotate and Flip
If your image is too small, at the wrong angle or you perhaps require the image to be flipped, then using the transform tools is the way to achieve this.
With your image selected, select the EDIT tab and locate TRANSFORM. Here, we have multiple ways to adjust the image. flip the imageTo 'flip' the image, select FLIP HORIZONTAL to reflect the image horizontally, or FLIP VERTICAL to flip vertically.
RotationTo rotate the image you can either select the ROTATE 180°, ROTATE 90° CW or the ROTATE 90° CCW to pivot the image exactly left, right or upside down, or... to manually rotate, simply select ROTATE, and spin the image as you please by selecting one of the small boxes that have now appeared around your image and click, hold and move (see below). Once done, select the tick button located in the options bar.

ScaleTo adjust the size/scale of an image, select SCALE, and similarly to the rotate tool, use the boxes to adjust the size of the image. BEWARE - doing this will also distort the original image's aspect ratio. If you don't want this to happen, simply click the lock button in the options bar (below). Again, select the tick when you are done.

For more advanced users, there is, however, a way to do all these tasks in one. By selecting EDIT > FREE TRANSFORM (or Ctrl+T), you can now adjust scale, rotation and reflection at once. To adjust scale, use the small boxes to adjust as before, for rotation move the mouse slightly away from the box until you see the curved rotation arrow (right). If you want to flip the image, when adjusting scale, simply select one of the surrounding boxes that aren't in the corner and drag the box to the opposite box and past (literally flipping it over).
